Privacy and disclosure

Some links on WhichMarathon are affiliate links. If you book a hotel, activity or other product through one of them, we may earn a small commission from the company you book with. It costs you nothing extra: you pay the same price as booking directly.

Commissions never decide which race you're matched with. The quiz ranks races on your answers only. Partners we work with, or plan to, include Booking.com, Stay22 and GetYourGuide. We reach most of them through Travelpayouts, an affiliate network.

Quiz answers

Your quiz answers stay in your browser and in the address of your result page so you can share it. We don't store them against your name.

Email sign-ups

If you ask for the race checklist, we keep your email address and the race you chose, to send you the checklist and occasional race tips and travel deals. If you tick the reminder box, we also email you when entries open or ballot results come out for that race. You can unsubscribe at any time.

Visitor statistics

We use Cloudflare Web Analytics to count visits and see which pages are popular. It sets no cookies, doesn't track you across other sites and doesn't identify you, so there's no cookie banner.

Booking links

Our pages load a script from Travelpayouts that turns booking links into tracked affiliate links, so the partner knows the booking came from us. When you click a booking link, Travelpayouts and the partner site (for example Booking.com) may set their own cookies to track the referral. Their privacy policies apply.
